Why I love filming at The Red Lion Inn
I've been filming weddings at The Red Lion Inn since 2013, and it is still one of those venues I am always happy to return to. It has real New England character without feeling formal or distant. The historic inn, the grounds, and the warm wood inside The Barn give every part of the day its own look while still feeling like one complete story.
I also genuinely love working with the Red Lion Inn staff. They are amazing: welcoming, organized, and focused on making the day feel easy for the couple. That kind of teamwork matters. It lets everyone stay present while I quietly capture the moments you planned and the ones you never saw happening.
After filming here across multiple seasons and many different timelines, I know where the light works, how the day usually flows, and when to be ready for the little transitions that often become some of the best parts of the film.
Historic New England character
The inn dates to 1704, and its Cohasset Village setting gives a wedding film a sense of place from the very first frame.
A beautiful room on camera
The Barn's exposed beams, cathedral ceiling, chandeliers, natural light, and warm neutral wood look incredible in both quiet moments and a full dance floor.
A full wedding weekend
With The Barn, Hillside House, The Cave, private dining spaces, and on-site suites, the celebration can stay connected from the rehearsal through brunch.
