Why I love filming at Larz Anderson Auto Museum
I've been filming weddings at Larz Anderson Auto Museum since 2012. The historic carriage house, vintage automobiles, and landscaped grounds create one of the most distinctive combinations I have filmed in Greater Boston.
There is visual interest in every direction, from the architecture and cars inside to the open grounds outside. I love using those contrasts to give the wedding film personality while keeping the couple, not the venue, at the center of the story.
A reception here can feel elegant, playful, and completely unlike a traditional hotel ballroom. Knowing the property helps me move quickly between its strongest backdrops without pulling the couple away from their guests for long.
