Why I love filming at Cove Cabin at Mount Hope Farm
I've been filming weddings at Cove Cabin at Mount Hope Farm since 2025. The cabin's position at the edge of Mount Hope Bay creates a wedding that feels private, natural, and deeply connected to the water.
Seal Island, the bridge, Narragansett Bay, the lawn, and the Adirondack-style cabin give the film a quiet coastal character. Sunset can be especially beautiful, but I use the entire day to show how the place actually felt.
A waterfront celebration works best when the couple can stay present. I plan around changing light and weather, protect audio, and use short portrait windows so the scenery adds to the story without taking over the experience.
