I've been filming weddings at The Common Man Inn Claremont since 2025. The restored mill character and Sugar River setting give this venue a look that feels industrial, historic, and warmly New England all at once.
The Sugar River Ballroom, Woven Label room, and riverside Sullivan Green give me very different textures within one connected property. That variety helps the film change visually as the day moves forward.
I especially like venues where the architecture has a real past. I can use those details to establish place, then let documentary coverage of the couple, family, and guests supply the emotion and personality.
