Why I love filming at College of the Holy Cross
I've been filming weddings at College of the Holy Cross since 2024. The campus architecture, hilltop setting, and St. Joseph Memorial Chapel give the ceremony a sense of history and meaning that carries naturally into the film.
I especially love the scale and atmosphere of the chapel. Wide architectural views establish the space, while careful close coverage preserves the expressions and small exchanges that keep the ceremony personal rather than distant.
A campus wedding also offers varied portrait backdrops within walking distance. Planning the movement efficiently lets us use that character without turning the time between the ceremony and reception into a long production.
