Why I love filming at Bittersweet Farm
I've been filming weddings at Bittersweet Farm since 2016. The 29-acre property, stone fields, farmhouse, gazebo, and post-and-beam interiors create a South Coast wedding with genuine rustic character.
I enjoy how the setting moves between open outdoor space and warm, textured rooms. The Main Dining Room's beams and windows, along with the tavern and patio, give the reception story visual variety without losing continuity.
Because the strongest locations are close together, portraits can be quick and relaxed. I can use the property when the light is right, then return the couple to their guests before the day loses momentum.
Twenty-nine acres of character
Fields, stonework, and the 1920s farmhouse establish a real Westport farm setting.
