Why I love filming at The Barn on the Pemi
I've been filming weddings at The Barn on the Pemi since 2020, and the setting makes an impression before the day even begins. The hilltop views, restored timber, greenhouse, terrace, and surrounding wilderness give a film a sense of scale while the barn itself keeps everything warm and personal.
I also love working with the team at The Barn on the Pemi. The staff is friendly, prepared, and focused on making the experience easy for the couple and their guests. When the venue team and video team communicate well, the couple gets to enjoy the day while we quietly stay ready for every important moment.
Because I have filmed both spring and summer celebrations here, I know how to balance the bright mountain views with the barn interior, where to find flattering light around the property, and how to preserve the relaxed pace that makes a New Hampshire wedding feel like itself.

The property sits above the Pemigewasset River with broad views that create beautiful establishing shots and a natural backdrop for portraits.
Historic character, carefully restored
The circa-1855 barn was moved from Canterbury and rebuilt in Plymouth, preserving its original character while adding modern comfort.
